I got a diamond dot sorting case!!!

It’s full of easy access trays and tools and label stickers (that correspond to DMC color numbers!)

I got it from the TikTok Store. It has 32 cases, but you can find ones that hold more. The outer case zippers closed. It comes in various patterns. Under $30 from Babu Fun Store on TikTok.

The Wise Men are on their way! A couple more tweaks and they’ll be ready for sealing and framing. I really thought I’d be lucky to finish them by the Epiphany (Jan. 6.)

I have been obsessing over them, lately, working on it while watching tv with the husband. My light box made that possible. I will write about that in a separate post.

I saved the star for last, going all freestyle (not following the pattern.) I used clear and gold-colored rhinestones leftover from different projects. I used two shades of metallic gold dots I found at Michael’s.

I am very pleased, and will start looking for a frame. The finished piece is 35×35 cm, not quite 12×12”.

Sometimes…

Sometimes…

Cooking feels like crafting.

Chipotle chicken quesadillas with corn on the cob (it gets a little long in the tooth this time of year,) salsa and baby lettuce.

I bake my quesadillas so they are crispy. 400°F for 15 minutes. They were yummy!

at the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival, today. I only saw about a third of it, but that was plenty for my old legs.

I caught up with friends and former students! I smelled some good smells and saw some awesome arts and crafts.

What are garbage fries?
I meant to come back here!
Moonshine Sauce?
Bees!
I thought about getting a “Nana” necklace.
This lady had some cool fused glass, too!
Sand art was a hit with the kids!

There was a band stand set up in the little corner park. I got to hear my friend, Eric Ellis, pick a little banjo.

Just a pretty pot of petunias. If you know me…
The rains arrived and ran me off, lugging a peck of apples!
