Another Photo Finish!

I repurposed this mostly black shopping bag last year for Halloween.

I used Rhonda Dohna’s stencils from PMartist Studio. I covered the label on the other side with black card stock.

I stamped it all over with haunted house and bat stamps, also by Rhonda Dohna of PMArtist Studio. The silver stars are from my stash of could be useful things, found a long time ago.

The problem with the front was I used metallic graphite for the spider.

It’s hard to see. I decided to outline it with white or silver. To help me choose, I got an idea from Ceri Griffths. He stamped on clear acetate to audition the best place on his gel prints to stamp a fish.

I found some clear packaging and traced the spider, first in silver, then in white with acrylic paint pens.

Silver was my favorite, and I proceeded to draw around the spider on the actual bag. It was still hard to see, and I did a lousy job with all of this part. I can see the spider, though. I think somebody stepped on it!

(I gave the broomstick a touch of gold.)

Thank you to Rhonda and Ceri. Happy Halloween Everyone!
