A Big Blessing and a Minuscule Disaster!
Church was a big blessing, yesterday and deserves its own post.
I missed my midnight deadline to blog last night because of a truly minuscule disaster. I knocked my dots off! Three sticky roller sheets later I had them corralled and went back to work on this:
Something seemed off and had since I started working on this. I looked up the ad on Amazon.
Yes indeed! The color numbers on the dot packs are wrong! I wrote a warning review on Amazon, and got busy scratching off dots and moving them to the other side of the Empire State Building. I started with the black ones and OCD-ed till 1:00am. Oops! ‘Missed a deadline!

Lots of Little Things
That’s what I accomplished, today:
I cleaned gel plates, some with hand sanitizer, some with baby oil, some by trying to pull what’s on the plate.
I sanded the back of my lavender dotted flower, and found some paint to match.
It’ll take a few coats.
I finished my, yes it’s pink, dotted flower, went through my haul, and realized I had bought another corner bookmark kit!
I also went to the grocery store, watched EddieMakesArt make some gorgeous gel prints and image transfers, EddieMakesArt
and took a nap.
This 100 day project will be over soon, and I’ll try not to post unless I have something truly post worthy. Eddie’s video is post worthy.
I’ve learned the time it takes to blog every day, could be creating time.

Doing the Dots
while watching Survivor:
I really like these little kits from Dollar Tree. This one is not actually orange.
It’s pink! I’m photographing under incandescent lights that cast a yellow glow. The bulb in my lamp is a “true color” bulb.
These little kits just take an evening or two. I meant to buy another corner bookmark. I think the one I made is really cute!

Finally!
I got my dogwood print pulled.
It was not too successful. It could use some doctoring.
I got the loose ends of my old dish cloth worked in. I don’t know how many years ago I crocheted this.
I saw something on social media that set my teeth on edge, and finished it up in a few minutes! I have an old quilt that needs lots of mending. Maybe I should work on it while I watch the news.
I sealed these diamond dot pieces.
I didn’t feel particularly well, today, so that’s about all I accomplished besides napping and watching videos. I learned a lot about hardy perennials and alternatives to using wire guardians with beading wire. The day was not lost.

Back for More
Laura and I went back to Dollar Tree, today. It was a different one from yesterday, at least.
We picked up more small diamond dot kits, and I got another glass box, a watercolor paper pad, and some pretty napkins.
We especially like the small dotting kits.
The flowers look great and just fit the top of the glass boxes.
We did more dotting, ate some great food, and watched some funny tv. Another great day for the books!

Dotz a lot o’ Fun!
Laura came over after working on her mom and dad’s estate, and we headed to Dollar Tree.
Remember yesterday’s trip?
Look at all the diamond dot kits! We selected several and headed back to my house to play!
These half-square triangle looking things are corner bookmarks. They are small enough to finish in an evening. This one’s Laura’s.

Pay Attention when you Order!
I’ve been very pleased when I’ve ordered diamond dots kits from Amazon in the past. However, pay attention to size and description before you order. These two are not as good looking in person as they were online:

Sometimes, they are pictured to look much larger than their actual size. Note that this one is listed as 13.79×13.79 inches.
Other dot kits have been on plexiglass. These are not. Pay attention! These were on sale, so I jumped right in and ordered. Maybe, I’ll be happy when they’re finished. I’ll post.
