A Nice Little Surprise!

A Nice Little Surprise!

I finished my diamond dot suncatcher.

Good old Art Glitter Glue was just the ticket for fixing the small portion of the design that became detached.

When I added the hanging chain to the finished suncatcher, I put one latch on backwards from the other. When I tried to remove it, a little piece of film came off the back. It looked like there was a protective film on the back. There was!

What a difference it made to remove it!

I wondered if my tree of life had one, too. It was fairly dull on the back. I got it out of the window.

Sure enough! Again, what a difference removing it made!

I’ll have to check the one I did at the beach!

Nothing Crafty about It…

except maybe where I hung it.

This is my favorite Prime Day purchase. I think it’s supposed to be a Christmas hanger. I don’t see many dragonflies at Christmas. Its jewel colors look good with my 1990’s hunter green, burgundy and navy, colors I will always love.

I thought at first it was a diamond art kit, like my tree of life.

No, it’s a solid piece of plastic, backed with another crackled looking circle of plastic.

You can see it from outside, even through the window screen. I’s especially prevalent inside, when the afternoon sun passes through!

I love it and feel pretty crafty for finding it!
