I told Laura to find us a cool place to have brunch. She delivered!

This is on East Franklin St. in downtown Monroe, NC. As we approached, we heard bluegrass music blasting, but it was from a head shop two doors up. For a minute, we thought we were in Boone! (I think they call those dispensaries nowadays.)

East Frank was kitchy and cool, like the Common Market was in 2010 Charlotte.

On the way back to the car, there were painted sunflowers, some words of wisdom, and a tree with a butt!

We continued on our journey.
