Today, I printed up a sheet of 1/4” graph paper and played with patterns for small collages or quilts.
I like a Mondrian* kind of grid and have done two wall quilts in a similar fashion, though neither one is finished! 😅 I want these works to be small enough to abandon (give away😉!)

I discovered this quilt:
It needed an identifying plaque, but I have no doubt it was done by the Ashe County Piecemaker’s Guild.
The mountain scene in the middle reflects the view from the courthouse.
I had to get a close-up of the cows!
Then, I found this print in the second floor lounge.
I got the artist’s name on this one:
I’ll have to see if I can find her online.
I ordered a new throw for the front room at Mama’s. It’s name, “Adrianne,” (my daughter’s name, spelled the same) so I was meant to have it! It’s not quite big enough for a slipcover, but I have some ideas…
