Whoa! Look at these!
I haven’t been blogging lately, but I have been crafting! I can post these projects because neither of the recipients have internet access. I’m so pleased! I got these gemstones in loose parcels from Jewelry TV. I ordered 14K snap tite settings from Sasha’s Gemstones. It took about 2 seconds to set them. Now Mama and Mary, my mother-in-law, are getting genuine birthstone earrings for Christmas! I love the quick crafts!

More baby fun!
Here are a couple more things I’ve embellished for my grandson. The organic sleeper above looked mint green on line but arrived a bland color of sage. I found some wonderfully soft bamboo yarn to match for the cap. I hunted up my old waste canvas and cross stitched a little turtle on the chest. Then, I added a little turtle button to the cap.
The white outfit just needed a bear applique to go with “L’oved baby” on the back of the pants.

Little Pumpkin
Here’s a cap I knitted for my daughter’s sister-in-law for her new baby. I crocheted the stem and leaf free hand by looking at the real thing. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out!

It’s soap pouring time!
Christmas is coming up and I’ve been busy pouring my “Gemsoaps.” I’m filling an order for my friend Ruth in Ohio. I also just received some new Christmas scents and inventoried my old ones. Yum, I just poured an amber-colored “hot toddy!” It’s time to be busy, busy, busy!

My class reunion
My class reunion has been my latest craft project. I used my computer to scan and print photos cropped out of our old yearbooks. We chose to decorate with a 70’s retro theme, and so I added pop art borders to the photos and we plastered a wall with them. I think everyone enjoyed looking at them and I’m planning on fixing more for the next reunion.

A Carol Doak book I missed!
I found this Carol Doak paper piecing book at our local library. Somehow I missed this one in purchasing her books. This has several blocks I don’t already have in my collection. One of them is an airplane and should make an adorable quilt for the grandbaby (who in his last photo op, i.e.,
