I refuse to feel guilty about ordering this book! It’s my reward for finishing PJ’s curtains. The diagrams are excellent and I look forward to feebly attempting to recreate some of the motifs!

I Had to Have Another Go

Not the Craft for Me!!!!
Encouraged by the bead button I’d made earlier, I decided to try weaving a larger and more complicated medallion. It looked like a turtle! I took it apart and sorted the beads. I don’t think off loom beadweaving is for me!

Well Now, that’s Better
I’ve been wanting to try this little button pattern from the Oct/Nov issue of Beadwork Magazine. I enjoyed it much more than the little dragonfly.

Itty Bitty Beaded Bug!
This tiny dragonfly is my first attempt at beadweaving:
It wasn’t as easy as I thought it’d be, or as much fun. Oh well, it’ll make a cute little embellishment for a crazy quilt project someday.
