Giveaways

Giveaways

I have decided to give away a lot of my handmade jewelry. I’m giving this away, tonight.

I have a shop page through facebook and Shopify. It’s also called “Karla Krafts.” It doesn’t get much traffic, and there have been order notification and payment processing problems, but I think, hope, that’s fixed.

Better?

Better?

I changed the middle tassel on my gold pendant from mismatched chain to antique gold silk. I think I like it better.I swapped the bead above the center tassel, too.

Before: I also hung it from a gold-plated lantern chain.I might swap the chain for a heavier one, too. Then I’ll price it and list it in my shop.

Tassels!

Tassels!

I think I’m on to something adding tassels to my Asian inspired necklaces!

I found little brass blanks I can use to add a pendant loop to the back of my bamboo edged pendant frames:

A little E6000 and a little dry time:

A tassel and a jump ring and I’m in business!

The black tassel is by Bead Landing via Michael’s. The gold one is from a supplier I found on eBay. I will have to favorite them, because it is beautiful and was nicely packaged.

The black and gold necklace is in my shop. So is the blue, but I’ll need to update it! (Since I just did!)

It’s a Keeper!

I made this necklace to sell, but I think I have to keep it. The cotton cord is hand dyed and painted. That’s one of my very favorite clasps. I made the bail myself from a vintage-looking metal stamping. I like the back as much as the front! The image is decoupaged on the back of a glass nugget, covered with card stock and sealed with Diamond Glaze. I plan on wearing it over a black turtleneck or tee. I’m right proud of me!
