Easy Earrings!

Easy Earrings!
Easy Earrings!

My friend, Beth, and I love marquisite jewelry. When I found these drops on the clearance rack at Michael’s, I immediately grabbed them up. I found the wire findings on clearance, too, I have $4.98 in both pairs. The drops are Madame Delphine by Blue Moon Beads. The findings are Luna Nuova.

Beth is taller and likes her earrings a little longer than I do, so I added a couple of jump rings to hers. E-A-S-Y!

It was on clearance, see? This reminds me, my craft book library file is getting way too big. Somewhere around here I have a cute, pink, pen drive that I found at Staples for not much money. It would be just the thing to load my library file. Hmmmnn…now what safe, logical-at-the-time place did I store it?

I wish I could say I made this beautiful Colombian emerald necklace, but it was a Christmas gift from my husband a couple of years ago. I didn’t like the earrings that went with it, so he didn’t purchase them.

When JTV recently had a sale on Colombian emeralds, I ordered this pair and some sterling silver “Gemtite” settings. The settings worked just like the “Snaptites” I’ve used before. Within seconds, I had earrings to go with my necklace! Total cost: About $40.00!

Whoa! Look at these!

I haven’t been blogging lately, but I have been crafting! I can post these projects because neither of the recipients have internet access. I’m so pleased! I got these gemstones in loose parcels from Jewelry TV. I ordered 14K snap tite settings from Sasha’s Gemstones. It took about 2 seconds to set them. Now Mama and Mary, my mother-in-law, are getting genuine birthstone earrings for Christmas! I love the quick crafts!
