When I discovered that the center of my white daisy had fallen out, I back-tracked all the way through the Belk parking lot and store. No luck! So, I found another smaller white daisy, took it off the stem and popped it into the the center of the first one. Now held in place with glue, I like it just as much, and maybe more since it’s a little different from the other two!

Pocketbook Posies!
I didn’t like the alligator clips that came on some of the flowers from Michaels, (pictured at 3:00, below,) they stuck out from the surface of the bag, snagged on things, and you could see them from the side. They were easy enough to pop off, though. I repaced them with “Gimme Gators” from Create for Less. I removed the calyx, and snipped off part of the stem, leaving enough to hold the petals together:
I used Loctite gel super glue because it would bond to metal and fabric. It would also sit “atop” the petals instead of being absorbed by them.

Best Recent Purchase
I bought this pack of craft needles at Walmart recently. There are tapestry and chenilles, quilting, etc. If you punch away the cardboard hang tag and leave the rest on the back, there’s a guide to each type and size needle. The clear top slides around and has a tiny hole through which you can dispense the needles and put them back. I don’t remember what I paid, but it wasn’t much. I may go back and buy another set for my embroidery box. (This one currently resides in my sewing room.)
