DeeDee needed pearls…
to go with that white and gold belt, don’t you think?
This choker is made with white pearl seed beads and a small wine glass charm ring.
I am going to put a drop of clear glue on the last bead to hold them all in place.

Delivered!
I took a new batch of necklaces and bracelets to the Quilt Square Girls in West Jefferson, NC, on Saturday. My friend, Laura, and I visited their shop and some others. We waited for a table at Black Jack’s Pub & Grill. Their burgers are worth it! You can smell them grilling all over town!

The Quilt Square Girls
I am making jewelry exclusively for the Quilt Square Girls in West Jefferson, NC!
The quilt Square Girls, Syndi (above) and Renee, specialize in Barn Quilts, and they have made over 1000! Laura and I wandered into their shop one day, and Syndi spotted one of my necklaces that Laura was wearing. “Can you make those for us,” she asked? I could, and I did!
The lavender one sold the first day! I am having the best time making these!

Playing with Jewelry
I got some itty bitty Czech glass button cabochons in the mail, today.
I tried them with some settings,
and I am pretty pleased.
I finished a couple of necklaces. One is a diffuser/locket.
Because it is a fairly heavy piece, I hung it from a heavy chain. I finished it with one of my favorite antique looking toggle clasps.
The other has a piece of Asian fabric captured under glass in a bamboo frame.
I wove a black and gold Kumihimo cord to match and finished it with a magnetic clasp.

I’m Knot Crazy!!! (My mother had me tested!)
Well, yes, I admit it. I don’t do macramé, but I love knots. Celtic, Chinese, Nautical! 
Here’s an extreme example of Chinese knotting that I’ll probably never achieve. I do want to learn some simpler knots, especially to make with my kumihimo cords. I started a new Pinterest board, today, “Lots of Knots.” Come visit!

I made bell flowers for spring and clear crystals and snowflakes for right now! We had a dusting of snow yesterday afternoon, and are expecting a truckload this weekend!

A New Experiment with Glass Gems
I bought tiny rubber stamps (used, on eBay,) and a pad of permanent ink. I stamped these tiny roses on the back of one of my glass gems.
I was inspired by a rectangular piece I saw on Pinterest. The inspiration piece used alcohol inks, but the accompanying article also mentioned using Stickles glitter glue. I don’t have alcohol inks, (yet,) but I did buy this 3 pack of Stickles on clearance at Michael’s a couple of weeks ago. Since baby blue AND pink are the 2016 colors of the year, I thought it a wise investment. I think I would’ve liked the gem better in all white. It needs some touch up, too.
