Baby Cap Supplies
My favorite yarn to use for my caps is Bernat Softee Baby. You can find it at Walmart and craft stores. Mary Maxim also supplies colors you won’t find everywhere:

BABY CAPS
“Baby caps! I make the cutest little baby caps!” – sung to the tune of Baby Face. I knit newborn caps and donate them to my local hospital. I quickly grew bored of pink and blue with pom-poms, so I decided to crown my creations with buttons and embellishments instead. This photo is of one of my favorites.

My First Quilt!
My first quilt is pictured above. I don’t have the patience for whole bed quilts. This hot mat/potholder is a paper pieced pattern by Carol Doak.

Where did all the TV craft shows go?
I traded in my old TennaRoter and antenna for cable so I could get HGTV. I loved the craft shows, especially after I retired from teaching. When HGTV became “the real estate network,” I added a digital box to my cable subscription so I could get DIY. Now the majority of craft shows has disappeared from DIY and I’m so disappointed. Anybody else feel that way?
