I finished PJ’s Winnie the Pooh quilt just in time for his Winnie the Pooh party! The outside border is quilted with hand embroidery following the stamped design. The center area has hand embroidered details here and there. I decided to hand tie this area and hope that the little ties looked like more bees swarming around the “hunny” pots.
I found this label at Hancock Fabrics. I’d wanted to print my own label to co-ordinate with the quilt design, but this will suffice for now.
My twins adore Winnie the Pooh…and mom’s pretty keen on him too! While others make one weary…good old Winnie just keeps on winning hearts!
I absolutely LOVE this quilt you madd, so talented!! I would love to have the pattern, if you don’t mind that is? We are about to move and I want to do my darling 9-month old daughter’s nursery up in Winnie the Pooh decor. I’ve been hunting for the right fabric and pattern but haven’t found anything I like, until now! I’ve never made a quilt before so it’s a pretty ambitious project for me!!
